“you Are Coming To Me At Night, To Molest Me”

The Central Prison Administration has opened an extensive investigation into certain allegations which have surfaced in Ward No. 7 of women’s cell about a scandal in which one of the inmates who is serving time for murder is accusing one of the female wardens of attempting to molest and harass her at night, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added, according to prison sources the investigation will also look into the issue of drugs which seem to be ‘distributed’ in women’s wards.

This happened when the inmate attempted to commit suicide after she was involved in a scuffle with the prison guards by breaking a plate and attempting to stab her. It has been reported later the prison guards searched the woman’s ward and found with her drug pills and other narcotics. During the scuffle the inmate allegedly assaulted two inspectors in full view of the female inmates and the inspectors and said to one of the inspectors, “You are coming to me at night, to molest me,” then broke a plate and injured herself.
