World Happiness Report - Kuwait Ranks 45th Out Of 156
Kuwait ranked 45th out of 156 countries with a score of 6.083 in the 2018 World Happiness Report published Wednesday. On the other hand, Kuwait ranked 34th out of 117 countries with a score of 6.207 in the happiness ranking for the foreignborn.
World Happiness Report is a survey of the state of happiness worldwide, in which 156 countries are ranked based on their happiness levels while 117 countries are ranked based on the happiness of their immigrants.
The overall rankings of country happiness are based on the pooled results from Gallup World Poll surveys from 2015- 2017. In the ranking of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries’ happiness levels, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) took the highest spot at 20th a score of 6.774, followed by Qatar at 32nd with a score of 6.374, Saudi Arabia at 33rd with a score of 6.371, Bahrain at 43rd with a score of 6.105 and Kuwait at 45th.
Oman is not part of the ranking. In the ranking of countries by the happiness of their immigrants, Oman ranked the highest among the GCC countries as it landed on 16th spot with a score of 6.829, followed by the UAE at 19th with a score of 6.685, Qatar at 26th with a score of 6.395, Bahrain at 33rd with a score of 6.240, Kuwait at 34th and Saudi Arabia at 35th with a score of 6.155.
