Weather Warning Issued For 36 Hours Beginning At 6:00 P.m.

Meteorological Department issued a "weather alert" stating that "the country is expected to be affected by sporadic rains, sometimes thundery and heavy, with a decrease in horizontal visibility in some areas. Winds may reach speeds of more than 60 kilometres per hour, causing dust and waves up to 7 feet high.

The Met department said the warning period would last 36 hours, starting at six in the evening today.
