Until Friday, Scattered Rain Is Likely To Continue

The Meteorological Department said that the country is expecting scattered rain of varying intensity, ranging from light to moderate, with thunderstorms in some areas and this condition is expected to continue at varying intervals till Friday afternoon.

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi of the Meteorological Department said that the rainy condition will reach its peak Thursday evening to the early hours of Friday morning. The rain will be accompanied by active winds reaching a speed of more than 55 kilometers per hour, causing dust, leading to decreased horizontal visibility.

The weather will gradually improve by Friday evening, as clouds decrease and chances of rain recede through the advance of an extension of high air towards the country, with chances of fog forming at night in some areas.
