Unacceptable: Torture In Custody Violates Human Rights
In a recent development, Parliamentarian Hamad Al-Olayan has expressed deep concern over reports circulating about a citizen allegedly subjected to torture by the intelligence service. Al-Olayan emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that if the claims are true, such actions cannot be tolerated. He stressed the duty to protect people's dignity and defend them against any form of abuse.
Taking to his social media account on platform "X," Al-Olayan conveyed the urgency of a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter. He stated, "We are awaiting the results of the investigation, which is expected to be swift and unbiased. A serious stance will be taken against the Minister of Defense if the investigation committee fails to promptly hold the wrongdoer accountable, and any delays will not be tolerated."
