Trial Of Kuwaiti Man For Murder Of Wife Postponed
The Criminal Court adjourned the case against a Kuwaiti citizen accused of killing and dismembering his wife in Qairawan and dumping her body parts in garbage containers.
According to a Kuwaiti woman's report to the security authorities, her sister has been missing for more than seven months. Since she failed to attend the weddings of two of her children during this time period, she was worried that something bad had happened to her. She lives alone because her sister has been separated from her husband (the father of her children) for a long time.
She is secretly married to a Kuwaiti, and no one knows this except her (the informant). A secret husband was interrogated about the disappearance of his wife, but denied involvement. However, the investigators were not convinced by his words as he seemed nervous and confused. They examined his phone and discovered that his last call to the missing woman was actually in October last year. Detectives tightened their grip on him.
Eventually, he confessed to killing her, cutting her body into twenty pieces, and dumping them in several garbage containers throughout the country. He had also disposed off her phone and personal clothes. During the court session, he denied all charges leveled against him.
