The Republic Of Korea Will Resume Visa-free Entry To Kuwaiti Nationals On May 1
The Republic of Korea has announced that Kuwaiti nationals will be able to enter without a visa again. The Republic of Korea will permit Kuwaiti nationals to travel there without a visa starting May 1, 2022, by applying for the K-ETA(Korea Electric Travel Authorization), a travel authorization granted to foreign nationals intending to travel to Korea without a visa.
For Kuwaiti citizens proposing to enter Republic of Korea without a visa, they must apply for the K-ETA online or by downloading the mobile app 72 hours before boarding the flight and providing personal and travel-related information.
*Website address:Â www.k-eta.go.kr
The mobile app is available at m.k-eta.go.kr
Kuwaiti nationals can visit the Republic of Korea without a visa if their trip is for tourism, medical treatment, business meetings, conference attendance or visiting family or relatives in Korea using the K-ETA application.
If the uploaded personal information is not changed during the validity period, then the K-ETA is valid for two years from the date of issuance. Moreover, travelers with the K-ETA will not need to submit arrival cards, allowing them to pass through immigration more quickly. Following the completion of the application, applicants will receive the results via email within 72 hours.
By introducing the new system, we believe that personal exchanges between Korea and Kuwait will be increased.
