The Red Crescent Society Distributes Gifts To The Orphans Of Gaza
The Red Crescent Society distributed in-kind gifts to Palestinian orphaned children in the Gaza Strip to draw a smile on their faces following the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza.
In a statement to KUNA, Director of Al-Amal Institute for Orphans in Gaza, Iyad Al-Masri, praised Kuwait’s good initiatives, especially providing valuable gifts that suit the age groups of Palestinian children.
Al-Masry said that representatives of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent distributed gifts to Palestinian children to draw a smile on their faces and contribute to their support, especially from a psychological point of view, adding: It is not strange for Kuwait to support the Palestinian cause and that it was a pioneer in supporting the Palestinian people and the people of the Gaza Strip and the path of the Al-Amal Institute for Orphans, which is the institution The only shelter in Gaza.
He added that the number of children in the institute is about 85 children under the age of 18, pointing to the assistance of about 10,000 children and their families in the various governorates of the Gaza Strip by providing health, relief and educational services, psychological support or family empowerment.
It is noteworthy that a number of Al-Amal Institute facilities and buildings were completely destroyed and others partially destroyed during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip last month, which lasted 11 days.
A convoy of humanitarian and medical aid, with the support of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society, arrived in the Gaza Strip last Thursday through the Rafah crossing to support the Palestinian people.
