The Pilgrimage Quota For Kuwait Is 3,622 This Year

21 April 2022 Kuwait

Kuwait's share of pilgrims has been set at 3,622, down from 8,000 before Corona, according to government sources.

Local Arabic newspapers reported that the number of pilgrims has been reduced dramatically since the kingdom limited the number of pilgrims to one million this year, down from about 2.5 million before the outbreak of the pandemic. According to sources, the Saudi authorities have still not answered the Ministry of Awqaf regarding the number of bedoun pilgrims who will perform Hajj this year, but the ministry is awaiting a response from them.

As reported by the sources, Awqaf will coordinate with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to make sure the prices will stay low this year due to the reduced quota.
