Teacher Beats 9 Year Old Boy

A Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint with officers at Sabah Al-Ahmad Police Station against an Egyptian teacher of English language for beating his nine-year old son, says Al- Seyassah. Father of the grade-three student, who reportedly sustained bruises all over the body due to beating, said the teacher lashed the child with a cane. He provided medical report to support his claim after filing a case with principal of the school. Apparently, a circular has been issued by the Ministry of Education warning teachers against corporal punishment, especially lashing students with cane.
