Students Are Welcome At Foreign Schools
The Assistant Undersecretary for Special and Qualitative Education, Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Huwaila, stated that four foreign schools will join the private education sector at the beginning of the new academic year after obtaining licences from the relevant authorities. Private foreign schools are currently preparing for the new academic year 2022-2023, which begins on August 28.
According to a local Arabic daily, the General Administration of Private Education will deal with student densities in both Arab and foreign schools by tasked the Planning Department to count the number of students enrolled in each school and subsequently determine the permitted number of students in each class.
While private international schools are getting ready for the new school year. Al-Huwaila claimed that there are no issues with private schools because many of them are well-equipped and ready to begin their academic year. He also noted that the administration will publish bulletins in the upcoming time to organize the affairs of private schools.
For their part, some Indian school principals told the daily that their schools had received books from the Indian embassy and were waiting to distribute them to the students on the first day of class. They also emphasised that all previous issues, such as the lack of bus drivers and cleaners, had started to fade away gradually.
The directors insisted that there is no shortage in the educational system because the teachers who were stranded abroad have returned to work and equipped school clinics and canteens in addition to performing many necessary maintenance tasks on air conditioners, toilets, and cleaning networks in preparation for the rainy season. They also emphasised that their affairs are in order and their institutions are prepared to reopen.
