Six Private Clinics Shut Down By The Minister

In continuation of the surprise inspection campaigns targeting private clinics, the Minister of Health Dr Ahmad Al-Awadhi closed six clinics, most of which operate without a license and engage in illegal recruitment, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources from the health sector. Nine doctors have been punished so far - seven non-Kuwaitis and two Kuwaitis. It has been reported that four of these doctors have been penalized for financial violations, and five have been suspended.
