Shoes Have Been Stolen By Barefooted Burglars
A Kuwaiti newspaper reported that Kuwaiti police are searching for three young men accused of walking into a citizen's house barefoot and leaving with brand new shoes.
According to Al Anba, the house owner reported the burglary to police in Kuwait City's Al Qadsia district, backing it up with surveillance camera footage from the place.
It appears that they left the house with pairs of shoes after failing to get their hands on more expensive items after walking into the house barefoot.
The paper quotes a security source as saying that the disappearance of a number of world-famous shoes had surprised a citizen in his 60s.
“On examining clips recorded by the security cameras, he realized 3 men in their 20s had entered the house barefooted by taking advantage of the open door. After a few minutes, each of them put on shoes and left the house. A few of them carried shoes as well,” the source said.
In this case, misdemeanor charges of house trespassing and theft were filed.
