Screen Allowance For Kuwaiti Employees Only

The Ministry of Health has informed all its sectors, central departments, health districts, hospitals and health centers to grant the ‘screen’ allowance for Kuwaiti employees only.

This announcement came following demands by many expatriate employees for ‘screen allowance’ since according to the decision issued by the Civil Service Commission only Kuwaiti employees were eligible for the allowance.

However, the MoH has approved new forms for disbursing screen allowance to Kuwaiti employees, starting from January 1, 2022, saying no screen allowance will be given except through the new form.

The Ministry has set 3 conditions for screen allowance entitlement, the first is 30 dinars for the employee who is dealing with visitors, the second is 20 dinars for the employee who does not directly deal with the visitors and 15 dinars for secretary/typist.
