Residence Permit Of 1,100 Lebanese And Syrians Will Not Be Renewed
The residence permit of 1,100 Lebanese and the Syrians will not be renewed since their names have been added to people who are blacklisted from entering the country after it was proved they had direct links with the Lebanese Hezbollah, reports Al-Qabas daily. Some of these men are believed to be sympathizers and others actively involved in some sort of activity.
The daily added, some of them will be given time to settle pending issues related to work while others, who are believed to be close to Hezbollah will be deported from the country immediately.
The Kuwaiti security authorities have received a list of persons (Syrians and the Lebanese) who had been deported earlier from GCC countries. However, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalid has asked the concerned authorities to double check the authenticity of the names before taking a decision either to deport or blacklist these persons.
