Payment Mode To Be Specified During Vehicles, Real Estate Ownership Transfer

The General Traffic Department has put in place new procedures when transferring the ownership of vehicle.

Informed sources revealed to Al-Rai daily according to the circular issued by Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs the transaction will not be completed unless the concerned party discloses the mode of payment — a copy of the check, cash receipt or a proof of transfer via the bank to control suspicious or illegal transactions.

It has been reported a similar has been followed by the Ministry of Justice in the case of real estate transfer transactions.
