Oil Sector Operations To Continue At 100% Capacity, With Issuance Of Allowance Permits To Employees
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has sent lists of its employees in the various facilities in the oil sector to the Ministry of Interior yesterday, Thursday, to issue permits for being allowed to walk during curfew for operations employees in oil fields, gathering centers and oil refineries, indicating that the employment rate in operations is 100%, a responsible oil source revealed to Al-Anba daily. There is no way to reduce them at all as they are required for the full operation of the country’s oil facilities.
The source stated that the working hours of administrators in the oil sector do not contradict the decision of the Council of Ministers of the partial curfew, as the working hours of oil companies start from 7 am until 3 pm, stressing that the oil companies are committed to the decisions issued to limit the number of workers at 30%.
