Nurseries Are Not Covered Under The Decision Of Closing Children’s Activities
The decision to close summer activities for children is scheduled to be implemented from July 25th, the decision does not include Nurseries for children, Al Qabas reported.
The nursery owners told the daily on inquiry from the relevant authorities, it was found that Nurseries are not covered under the closure decision, especially since they hold child care licenses during the morning period from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Community Development, while other private facilities have licenses from the Ministry of Commerce.
The decision for their return to work came into effect on the first of June after the approval of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Affairs and presented to the Corona Emergency Committee.
A representative of the Nursery Owners Association, Fayez Al-Shammari, said that the nurseries operate according to the health requirements booklet that I received from the Ministry of Social Affairs in coordination with the Ministry of Health, which contains more than 20 pages.
Al-Shammari added that the nurseries are committed to implementing all the requirements, and there is a continuous inspection by nursery officials. He pointed out that more than 2,000 workers have received the vaccine, while the Ministry of Affairs is currently completing the vaccination of workers in nurseries in coordination with the Ministry of Health through the vaccination center in the Mishref region.
He stated that one of the things that nurseries are keen on is not to receive unvaccinated parents to accompany their children or enter with them, in addition to the continuous examination of the two years and children and other requirements.
