No Re-appointment Of Employees Whose Services Have Ended On Contract

The Minister of Works, Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Dr. Rana Al-Faris appointed any of the ministry’s outgoing employees or their contracts on the strength of the projects implemented by the ministry, whether it is within the technical staff of the contractor or the consultant.

Al-Faris said in a letter addressed to the Undersecretary of the Ministry M. Ismail Al-Failakawi: Legal measures will be taken against anyone who violates this, noting the need to ensure that the contractual requirements of the technical staff of the contractor and consultant are met in the ongoing projects of the Ministry’s sectors in accordance with the contractual terms. And she stressed the need to secure sufficient labor to complete the work according to the need of work, taking into account that the number of the contractor’s body mentioned in the contract documents represents the minimum for the contractor’s body in the project.

She drew attention to the importance of ensuring that the number of supervisory personnel in advisory agreements is commensurate with the volume of work at work sites, and not allowing any job to start before the start of its activity, asking project engineers to request a disclosure of the distribution of human effort on the activities of the contract’s schedule and reviewing it periodically every 3 months. . She indicated that the request for appointing any of the individuals is prohibited by appointing the Ministry’s apparatus, whether in the contractor or advisory system in the projects, provided that this is done through following the administrative systems and after fulfilling the conditions and requirements for filling the position by the contract engineer
