No Decision Made On Fuel Price Increase
In response to recent speculation, Amer Al-Ajmi, the Head of the Local Affairs Sector and official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti government, has refuted claims of an imminent fuel price hike. Al-Ajmi addressed the issue following statements made by a government representative on Monday regarding a potential rise in fuel prices.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Ajmi clarified that the government has not made any decisions regarding the increase in fuel prices. He emphasized that discussions surrounding the matter have been postponed, with further deliberation required. Al-Ajmi highlighted that the issue remains under scrutiny and examination within the Ministerial Committee for Economic Affairs.
The denial from a government official aims to quell concerns and dispel rumors circulating regarding potential changes to fuel prices in Kuwait. As discussions continue within relevant committees, Kuwaiti citizens await official updates on the matter.
