New Service To Enable Swift Access To Legal Documents Via Sahel App
In order to keep services more accessible and streamline the public's experience, Undersecretary of Justice Hashim Al-Qallaf announced the launch of "Sahel", an application for the Ministry of Justice.
"Certificate of Opposition or Appeal" is a new service designed to simplify the process for public customers. It enables individuals to obtain an extract from a certificate of opposition or appeal, which was previously submitted, facilitating the submission of necessary documentation to relevant authorities to lift transaction restrictions.
In his remarks, Al-Qallaf stressed the importance of this service in providing citizens with a more convenient and efficient experience. The service addresses the need for quick access to relevant legal documents and aims to expedite the resolution of transaction-related matters.
The Attorney General presented statistics for 2023 to demonstrate the demand for such services. According to these figures, the number of requests for certificates has reached a substantial 530,000, averaging at 1,600 certificates requested per day. A service like the "Certificate of Opposition or Appeal" underscores the importance of initiatives designed to meet the growing demand for legal documentation and streamline the administrative process.
