Mps Declare Their Support For Questioning Hh Pm

A number of members of the National Assembly expressed their support for the questioning of His Highness the Prime Minister by the MPs.

In this context, MP Marzouq Al-Khalifa said that questioning the prime minister is a duty and requirement, and declared the support for the interrogation as it is the option that must be fulfilled in the face of the demands of the Kuwaiti people.

In turn, MP Saleh Al-Mutairi asserted that “the government did not respect the nation’s opinion, and it is the reason for what we have reached today and our battle is with a government that does not understand politics, and the latest concerns, desires and needs of the citizen,” pointing out that “challenging the legislative authority, including its tools and influence is a message that requires us to support the interrogation. ”

MP Faris Al-Otaibi said that “based on the oath that we have sworn, and in order to preserve the nation’s dignity and respect, I announce full support for the questioning presented to the prime minister.”

MP Hamdan Al-Azmi indicated that “I have previously signed and will sign a letter of non-cooperation in questioning the prime minister presented today.”

For his part, Deputy MP Abdul Karim Al-Kandari said that the government that did not respect the opinion of the majority does not deserve cooperation.

He added that democracy means invoking the opinion of the majority and accepting the results of the elections and the word of the people during elections, citing what was stipulated in the explanatory memorandum of the constitution, “monitoring public opinion, which undoubtedly takes in its hand democratic rule and provides its components and guarantees.”

Likewise, Deputy MP Muhammad Al-Mutair announced his support for the questioning of the Prime Minister, and said: “A government that does not respect the nation and its will, and is relieved of transgressing the nation’s representatives. Non-cooperation is a duty.”

In turn, MP Mubarak Al-Hajraf said, “The prime minister is relieved of the farces of Black Tuesday … who is far from the political reality and who chose to confront the will of the people by standing against it, no doubt that he does not deserve to stay, so I declare my support for the questioning.”

MP Saud Bouslib indicated that, “In compliance with the constitution, the regulation, the people’s demands, and the will of the nation, I declare my support and support for the questioning presented today against the Prime Minister.”
