Moe Earmarks Kd 40 Mln For Indemnity

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has earmarked KD 40 million for the indemnity of male Kuwaiti employees occupying academic posts and been working for 30 years or more and their female counterparts who have been in service for 25 years or more, Al-Rai daily reported quoting a reliable source.

The source clarified that the above-mentioned amount is just an estimate and the ministry will request the additional budget from its finance counterpart if the need arises.

While the source affirmed that the Financial Sector has no deficit in the indemnity funds but there are other deficits that affected several projects, especially after the decision to reduce the ministry’s 2020/2021 budget by KD 500 million.
