Mobilization Of Troops And Police To Arrest Criminals And Illegal Expats

A security operation conducted by the General Administration of Rescue in the Mahboula area resulted in the issuance of 258 traffic violations and the apprehension of several individuals involved in various offenses on Wednesday evening, reports Al-Rai daily. This initiative, in line with the directives of Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, emphasizes the imperative need for enhanced security and traffic measures to curb security threats, reckless behavior, and criminal activities. The operation specifically targeted entrances and exits of the region, as well as locations with a high concentration of offenders. Accompanying the men of the General Department of Rescue during this security campaign, “Al-Rai” witnessed the coordinated efforts led by Brigadier General Fares Al-Qahtani, the Director of the Department. The operation involved the participation of all rescue departments across governorates, with approximately 100 troopers and 30 patrols. The area was effectively cordoned off for 4 hours, resulting in the apprehension of numerous violators.

The campaign’s outcomes included the issuance of 258 traffic violations, the identification of 15 residency law violators, detection of 10 individuals without proper documentation, the identification of 13 individuals with arrest warrants, and the arrest of a person with criminal charges. Additionally, 5 vehicles subject to judicial custody were detained, along with the arrest of an individual found in possession of controlled substances. Security sources emphasized that the General Department of Rescue maintains continuous activity across all governorates, deploying patrols and establishing checkpoints around the clock. Furthermore, a weekly initiative brings together the personnel and vehicles of all rescue departments, focusing on a designated area that is completely closed and monitored to identify and apprehend violators, particularly those engaged in reckless and criminal activities. These ongoing security campaigns aim to safeguard the well-being of citizens and residents, acting as a deterrent against anyone attempting to disrupt the peace or violate the law. These efforts are part of a sustained commitment to daily operations to maintain and enhance overall security.

Meanwhile, over the past two days, the Traffic and Operations Sector in Kuwait confronted violators, monitored violations, conducted traffic campaigns, and deployed patrols across various governorates, reports Al-Rai daily. As a result, 6,186 various traffic violations were issued, 6 individuals were referred to traffic police, and 9 people were handed over to juvenile prosecution. Additionally, two individuals wanted by security were apprehended. The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry reported that the campaigns led to the seizure of 152 vehicles, which were subsequently impounded. Furthermore, 199 violations related to nuisance noise were issued, 12 wanted vehicles were seized, and 167 radar violations were recorded. The department emphasized the ongoing commitment of the General Traffic Department to conduct campaigns and enforce the law without leniency for violators.
