Many Expats Arrested For Running Fake Domestic Labor Recruiting Offices

Personnel from the General Department for Residence Affairs have arrested a number of expatriates for running fake domestic labor recruiting offices in Salmiya, reports Al-Anba daily. During the raid police have also arrested 16 domestic workers some of whom had run away from their sponsors and reported absconders, some whose residence had expired and stayed illegally in the country and others for violating the labor law. The owners of the offices were reportedly cheating Kuwaitis. Those arrested have been referred to the authorities.
