Liquor Factory Raided - One And Half Liter Bottle For 3 Kd
After a few days of raiding and closing a liquor factory in Adan area run by 4 Nepali expats including two women, a new raid took place in the Umm Al-Hayman area. The raid was carried out on instructions from General Security Sector Undersecretary Major Faraj Al-Zoubi and supervision from Major General Saleh Matar and Assistant Director of Al-Ahmadi Security Brigadier Walid Al-Shehab in coordination with the detective, where a liquor factory in Umm Al-Hayman was run by four Asians where barrels and distillation tools were confiscated at the location.
A security source said that information had been received by the security men and that coordination had been made with the detectives and after making sure that the information was authentic and a search warrant was issued by the prosecution to raid the liquor factory, where a large amount of alcohol was detected, one of the accused tried to escape from the house that was converted to a local liquor-making factory.
Upon initial investigation, one of the Asians reported that the rate of liquor bottle of one and a half liters cost was 3 dinars and was being sold to fellow citizen.
