Lama Boresly, A Kuwaiti Businesswoman Launches First Electronic Business Platform
Lama Boresly, a Kuwaiti businesswoman, launched on Monday the first electronic platform to enable Gulf and Arab women to become active in the field of trade and business through the presentation of women's products and market them via Internet.
On this occasion that the aim of launching this platform (koot.com) is to help Gulf and Arab women develop themselves physically by providing them with opportunities to market their products in a wide range.
She explained that the platform currently serves the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, with plans to expand in the near future, adding that this platform enhances Gulf women's confidence in the output of business and innovations and to help them achieve their goals and ambitions with satisfactory returns.
"We look forward through this project to activate Arab women's role in economic development and allow them to increase and diversify sources of financial income", she added. She noted that the website is based on the principle of constructive dialogues and product evaluation along with comments, in addition to advice that serve the product.
