Kuwait's Electricity Ministry Links With Public Works To Streamline Payment Processes
Insiders from the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy have revealed the successful integration of the treated water request service with the Ministry of Public Works. This strategic alliance aims to optimize state dues payments across ministries for users of treated water services.
These sources underscore that the collaboration with the Ministry of Works goes beyond handling treated water requests. The Ministry of Electricity actively pursues electronic integration for seamless transactions and communications with various state agencies. Moreover, efforts are underway to enhance payment systems at the Ministry of Works, facilitating smooth electronic transfers.
Dr. Jassim Al-Stad, the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, has directed the extension of this integration to the General Authority for Agriculture and other relevant entities. The ongoing initiative focuses on creating a streamlined system for the Authority, simplifying the connection process. Concurrently, the Electricity Authority is advancing its systems to efficiently collect diverse dues, aligning with the latest technological frameworks. This approach aims to improve customer accessibility through various channels, including electronic payment methods.
The spokesperson highlighted the Minister’s commitment to fostering collaboration by organizing periodic meetings among relevant departments in different ministries. This collaborative effort aims to expedite transactions and eliminate the cumbersome documentation process of the past, whether through traditional paper methods or the use of CDs for information transfer within and between ministries, sectors, and departments.
