25 November 2023 Kuwait

Kuwait TV correspondent Suad Al-Imam, along with her accompanying photographer, survived an Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip. The attack targeted a residence near the Kuwait Specialized Hospital in Rafah, resulting in numerous casualties.

As Al-Imam reported on the arrival of two Kuwaiti cars via the air bridge at the Rifa crossing, the bombing occurred. Tragically, the strike left dozens dead and wounded.

According to Al-Imam, she was in Gaza with a photographer and Kuwait Specialized Hospital director Dr. Suhaib Al-Hams to document the hospital's reception of two ambulances provided by Kuwait. The occupation forces unexpectedly launched three missiles at a house situated less than 50 meters from the hospital, causing extensive destruction and resulting in numerous casualties.

Al-Imam reported that despite the chaos, the two ambulances had diverted from their intended route to the hospital. Instead, they evacuated and transported the wounded from the heavily damaged area.
