Kuwaiti Students Can Study In Japan Thanks To A Scholarship Offered By The Japanese Government

A grant program from the Japanese government has been announced by the Japanese Embassy in Kuwait for those wishing to study in Japanese universities as undergraduate and graduate students (Masters and PhD).

Kuwaiti students applying for scholarships must meet certain conditions set by the embassy. A local Arabic daily reports that undergraduate students must have completed 12 academic years and have a sufficient academic background. It is a five-year program in natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities, which includes one year studying Japanese, from April 2023 through March 2028, i.e. from April 2023 to March 2028 for students who have completed 12 academic years.

In the case of research students, a minimum of 16 academic years must have been completed by the applicant, and he or she must be born after April 2, 1988, and the study years should begin April or September 2023 and end March 2025, as well as the subjects taught should be similar to the fields the applicant specialized in at the university.

According to the embassy, the last day to apply is June 30, 2022, and applications must be delivered to the embassy personally. An applicant for the grant must examine papers, take a written examination, and interview personally.
