Kuwait Unveils New Government: PM Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Sabah To Lead 13-Minister Cabinet
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has officially signed an Amiri Decree, announcing the formation of a new government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. The newly formed cabinet comprises 13 ministers, each assigned to pivotal roles in the administration.
Here is the list of key appointments in the new government:
1. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Acting Minister of Interior: Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah.
2. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil: Dr. Emad Mohammad Al-Atiqi.
3. Minister of Information and Culture: Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi.
4. Minister of Health: Dr. Ahmad Abdulwahhab Al-Awadhi.
5. Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs: Feras Saud Al-Sabah.
6. Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment: Dr. Anwar Ali Al-Mudhaf.
7. Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Minister of State for Housing Affairs: Dr. Salem Falah Al-Hajraf.
8. Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Minister of State for Communications: Dawood Sulaiman Marafi.
9. Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research: Dr. Adel Mohammad Al-Adwani.
10. Minister of Commerce and Industry: Abdullah Hamad Al-Jo'an.
11. Minister of Foreign Affairs: Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.
12. Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs: Faisal Saeed Al-Ghareeb.
13. Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipality Affairs: Dr. Nora Mohammad Al-Mashaan.
Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad is tasked with informing the National Assembly about this decree, which comes into effect from the date of its publication.
