Kuwait University Attains WHO Accreditation As Healthy University City
Kuwait University has reached a remarkable milestone with its accreditation as a healthy university city by the World Health Organization (WHO). This achievement was officially announced by Prof. Dr. Fayez Munshar Al-Dhafiri, Secretary-General of Kuwait University and its official spokesperson.
The accreditation follows a thorough evaluation conducted by a delegation from the World Health Organization, assessing Sabah Al-Salem University City's adherence to healthy city standards. The evaluation, which took place in Sabah Al-Salem University City – Al-Shaddadiya last December, culminated in this prestigious recognition.
Expressing gratitude for this accomplishment, Prof. Dr. Fayez Al-Dhafiri, Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University, emphasized its significance. He highlighted Kuwait University's unwavering commitment to its developmental, cultural, and civilizational mission, catering to the well-being of both individuals and society at large.
Prof. Dr. Fayez Al-Dhafiri underscored the university's dedication to attaining regional and global prominence, emphasizing its continued efforts to maintain a distinguished position in the academic realm. He extended appreciation to all stakeholders, particularly health institutions, whose collaboration was pivotal in meeting the standards set forth by the Healthy Cities Initiative.
