18 April 2024 Kuwait

The Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE), led by President Faisal Al-Atl, recently convened a pivotal meeting with Dr. Adarsh Swaika, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, alongside other officials. The primary agenda? To tackle the pressing issues surrounding the accreditation of Indian engineers within Kuwait.

Expressing satisfaction with the ongoing cooperation between KSE and the Indian Embassy, President Al-Atl lauded the joint efforts in implementing requisite standards, resulting in a notable decrease in the number of Indian engineers encountering hurdles in obtaining accreditation.

Among the key topics discussed was the challenge of Indian engineers obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from KSE. Both parties affirmed their commitment to collaboratively address these cases, underscoring the importance of a streamlined accreditation process.

In a strategic move forward, President Al-Atl unveiled KSE's forthcoming initiative: the launch of a dedicated digital platform designed to facilitate the recruitment of engineers from various nationalities. This platform will serve as a comprehensive gateway, ensuring that candidates' qualifications and experiences align seamlessly with professional requirements. Upon their arrival in Kuwait, candidates will undergo accreditation procedures and examinations.

Furthermore, the Indian Ambassador extended an invitation to KSE, urging them to visit the Ministry of Higher Education in India. Such visits aim to foster dialogue and exchange insights into educational advancements and accreditation practices.
