Kuwait Municipality Approves Parking Space Allocation For Jahra Equestrian Club

The Kuwait Municipality has given the green light to a request from the Public Authority for Sports (PAS) to designate an area for parking in front of the Jahra Equestrian Club. The approved space measures approximately 450 meters in length and 17.50 meters in width, covering an area of 7,875 square meters. This decision, based on coordinates outlined in an attached sketch, aims to integrate these new parking facilities with existing ones within the club's boundaries.

The transaction received a technical opinion from Municipality Director General Saud Al-Dabbous, emphasizing compliance with requirements laid out during the Public Services Facilities Subcommittee meeting on March 14, 2024. Coordination with relevant parties is mandated before the commencement of implementation.

Notable directives include ensuring a distance of 100 meters from the agricultural and irrigation project on both sides of the road, with a width of 120 meters, and maintaining a 10-meter distance from project boundaries on each side. Additionally, the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources emphasized the importance of documenting minutes of a meeting prior to commencing work and coordinating with the site's engineer.

Furthermore, the General Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior has requested detailed plans depicting project entrances and exits for evaluation purposes. The municipality retains the authority to adjust parking lot dimensions and areas within specified limits to address any conflicts with existing infrastructure services or regulatory requirements during installation.
