Kuwait, Iraq Vow To Enhance Security Cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah received in his office at Ministry of Interior a top-level delegation from Iraq headed by the Iraqi Interior Minister Lieutenant Gen Yaseen Al-Yasri, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

The Iraqi delegation is on an official visit in the State of Kuwait to work on enhancing security cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was held in the presence of Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham.

A discussion was held during the meeting between the two sides concerning matters related to security of the region, as well as ways to activate joint coordination and cooperation between the two countries especially to observe the land borders between the two countries.
