Kuwait Customs Department To Retire 30 Employees

The General Administration of Customs has sanctioned the retirement of approximately 130 employees, whose service spans between 30 and 40 years, meeting the retirement criteria outlined in Article (76).

It has been revealed that the retirement decisions, scheduled for implementation by year's end, will affect both regular employees and supervisors in the "Customs" department. This initiative is part of a broader strategic effort by “Customs” to infuse fresh talent across its diverse divisions, aligning with the objectives of the development plan.

This measure not only opens up new employment prospects for Kuwaitis but also provides opportunities for national talents to contribute to the advancement and enhancement of public administration. Ultimately, this concerted effort is expected to bring about a qualitative transformation of "Customs" in the near future.
