Kuwait Continues To Receive Rainfall, Ranging From 12.5 To 63 Mm.
Kuwait Meteorological Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said Tuesday that rains will continue until Wednesday dawn as levels reach as high as 63mm and as low as 12.5mm.
Al-Ahmadi Port recorded 63mm, Kuwait City 17.7mm, Al-Jahra Governorate 17.5mm, and Kuwait Airport 12.5mm.
In a statement, Abdulaziz Al-Qaraqi, a meteorologist at the department, forecast that the weather would improve gradually following Wednesday dawn, and that scattered heavy rains were observed throughout the country.
It will be dry and cold, with northwesterly winds ranging between 15 and 45 kilometers per hour, he said, indicating the lowest temperature will be between five and eight degrees.
The continued rains were attributed to a low-pressure area accompanied by a warm and humid air mass, he explained.
