Kuwait Businesses Center Receives 350 Transactions Daily
Kuwait Businesses Center receives 350 transactions daily, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting Services Supervisor at the center Saleh Al-Thufairi. Al-Thufairi told the daily that the center processes applications for establishment of companies within 48 hours, except the issuance of licenses as this requires approval of Kuwait Municipality and the supervisory entities.
He pointed out the decisions issued by Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalid Al-Rawdan to facilitate the business environment, including reduction of capital and elimination of bureaucracy in the documentation process, led to a remarkable increase in the number of applications for establishment of companies.
He added the ministry received about 60,000 license applications in the last two years. On the other hand, he clarified the ministry did not cause the delay in increasing the number of licenses for food trucks but the entrepreneurs themselves as they have yet to fulfill the conditions set by other institutions such as the Technical Examination Department in the Interior Ministry and the Firefighting Department
