Kuwait Asked To Postpone Its Trip To Colombo

Following the Sri Lankan government proclaiming a state of emergency and widespread curfew across the country due to demonstrations and an uncertain security situation, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Sri Lanka has advised its residents to postpone their journey to Colombo.

According to a local Arabic newspaper, the embassy has also advised Kuwaitis in the Republic of Sri Lanka to take care and avoid protest locations.

Kuwaitis in Sri Lanka are advised to contact the mission on phone number 00 94 (77) 330 0077 in the event of an emergency.
