Knpc Opens A New Petrol Station In Sabah Al-ahmad City
The Kuwait National Petroleum Company inaugurated on Monday a new fuel filling station in Sabah Al-Ahmad residential city bearing the number 140, which is the fifth station that the company has been operating in this city since last December, while work is underway to establish 4 stations Others to meet the needs of its residents.
The company stated in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the opening of this station comes within the framework of the company’s plan to establish 18 new fuel stations in various regions of the country as a first batch within a long-term plan that includes the establishment of 100 stations and aims to keep pace with the urban expansion in the country and meet the needs of the population, especially In the new areas.
It indicated that 12 stations have been opened so far, four in Jaber Al-Ahmad residential city, five in Sabah Al-Ahmad residential city, and one each in northwest Al-Sulaibikhat, Abdali farms and Saad Al-Abdullah city.
She stated that the new station is characterized by a modern design and uses advanced solar energy technology that enables it to produce clean energy that provides 30 percent of the station’s need for electricity. It also contains a steam recovery unit that captures the vapors while filling the car’s tank with fuel and then condenses them and returns them to the tank, which contributes to the preservation of The environment.
She explained that the station provides additional services such as the mini-central market, an ATM, the prayer room, washing and maintenance services for cars, and it also allows the payment of their fuel consumption through advanced and easy-to-use electronic technologies and applications
