India's Goair Announces Launch Of Flights To Kuwait
India's Budget carrier GoAir Tuesday announced the launch of its flight services to Kuwait from India's Kannur International Airport starting from September 19th. "Kuwait is our 7th international destination. The inaugural flight will take-off from Kannur international Airport at 7:00 am (local time) and will reach Kuwait at 9:30 am (local time).", Mr Arjun Das gupta, Vice President GoAir international operations said here in Kuwait.
With an exciting inaugural offer of Kuwait-Kannur one way ticket at the price of 28 KD and return ticket for a price of 56 KD, GoAir will be operating daily flights G8 62 from Kuwait to Kannur and G8 61 from Kannur to Kuwait starting 19th September 2019. As part of the package, GoAir offers 30 kg checked-in baggage for passengers in Kuwait Kannur sector.
Go Air also announced the appointment of Resource management International (RMI) as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Kuwait RMI is part of Kuwait's Al-Waseet Travel Tourism Services (WTTS). WTTS is ranked as one of the top Travel management Company in Kuwait and it is now have offices in Kuwait, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. WTSS Managing Director Mr Saleem Murad also present during the press briefing. "We are delighted to associate with GoAir and we are glad to be part of GoAir's operation in Kuwait" Mr Saleem Murad said.
As per the current schedule, GoAir flight G8 61 will leave Kannur at 7:00 am and will reach Kuwait at 9:30 am. The return flight G8 62 will leave Kuwait at 10:30 am and will reach Kannur at 6:00 pm. GoAir is operating domestic services to Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Cochin from Kannur airport. Kuwait is its 4th destination in Middle East. GoAir is already operating to Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Dubai from Kannur Airport.
"We are also offering GoHolidays holiday packages for local residents in Kuwait", Mr Arjun Dasgupta said. Kannur airport is very close to several tourist destinations such as Bekal, Wayanadu and Coorg in Karnataka. "We offer all include packages for leisure travellers from Kuwait where they can enjoy the close tourist destinations in and around Kannur", he added.
GoAir Corporate Communication VP Bakul Gala, MENA Senior General Manager Jaleel Khaled were also present during the launch announcement in Kuwait.
