Increase In Demand For Booster Dose After Kuwait Reported Omicron Variant

The Mishref vaccination center witnessed a great turnout by citizens and residents to take the third booster dose of the anti-Covid 19 vaccination after Kuwait reported first case of Omicron variant.

According to report, the vaccination number increased the number of nurses to meet the heavy requests by those wishing to take the third dose.

The Ministry of Health had earlier announced that anyone who wished to receive the booster dose can go to the Mishref vaccination center without an appointment, but as the third dose is not mandatory, many refrain from receiving it. However the news of Omicron made many to opt for the third dose in past few days.

Despite the large number, the vaccination center had made excellent arrangements to speed up the process.
