Fuel Theft Case Reported In Sabah Al-Salem

A new case of fuel theft has emerged at the Sabah Al-Salem Police Station, echoing a reminiscent incident registered at the Maidan Hawalli Police Station in December 2023. Under case number 2024/7, this latest incident involves fuel theft.

According to a security source, a citizen born in 1962, representing a local fuel marketing company, has lodged a complaint detailing multiple instances of a driver visiting the fuel station in the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area on eight separate occasions, as reported by Al-Anba daily.

Following refueling, the driver absconded from the scene without making payment, indicating a recurrent pattern of theft. The total value of the stolen fuel across these eight incidents is estimated at 18.5 dinars.

Video footage capturing the accused in the act serves as evidence. Consequently, the police station investigator has issued instructions for the detectives to apprehend the suspect.
