Customs Workers Union Condemns Acting Director's Work System Changes

The Union of Workers in the General Administration of Customs recently embarked on field visits to border customs centers to discuss the Acting Director General's decision regarding alterations to the work system.

During the visit to the Nuwaiseeb Customs Administration, Union Head Ahmed Aqla Al-Anazi affirmed the union's stance on the continued implementation of the fingerprint system. However, he vehemently opposed the Acting Director-General's decision to change the work system, denouncing it as nonsensical, arbitrary, and poorly conceived.

Al-Anazi emphasized that the proposed decision is impractical and detrimental to both workflow efficiency and national security.
