Civil Aviation: Air Navigation Is Normal At Kuwait International Airport
The General Administration of Civil Aviation confirmed today, Sunday, that the air traffic at Kuwait International Airport is proceeding normally, with delays in some departing flights, despite the rainy situation that the country is currently witnessing.
The Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Affairs and the official spokesperson for the administration, Saad Al-Otaibi, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the movement of aircraft was not affected by the current weather, stressing that the emergency plan was activated in all operational sectors in the “Civil Aviation” to deal with the huge quantities of aircraft. rains.
The Meteorological Department had stated that the country is affected by scattered rain of medium intensity and sometimes thunderstorms in some areas, with activity in wind speeds that may reach more than 50 kilometers per hour, with a decrease in horizontal visibility in some areas, and the height of sea waves reaches more than six feet.
