Bangladesh Offers Kuwait To Establish Precautionary Oil Refineries On Its Territory

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Dr. Abu Al-Kalam Abdul-Moamen revealed that he had offered Kuwaiti government officials that Kuwait take advantage of the distinguished position of Bangladesh by establishing 'precautionary' oil refineries there to be an outlet for it in the event of any serious tension in the Arabian Gulf at any time in the future.

Abdul-Moamen, who recently visited the country as a special envoy of his country's government to offer condolences on the death of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, praised the bilateral relations between the two countries, indicating that Kuwaiti officials told him that Kuwait will soon announce its decision to reopen the labor market for Bengali workers.
