An Ethiopian Housemaid Arrested For Pouring Hot Water On The Face Of A Filipina Housemaid
An Ethiopian housemaid was arrested for pouring hot water on the face of a Filipina housemaid who works with her in the same house in Ishbiliya area.
According to security sources, the Kuwaiti sponsor heard the two housemaids shouting in her kitchen and checked to find her Filipino housemaid screaming with her hands over her face while the Ethiopian housemaid was holding a vessel with hot water.
The sponsor pushed the Ethiopian away and checked the Filipina to discover she sustained first degree burns on her face. She immediately took the victim to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment.
Securitymen arrested the Ethiopian woman and took her to Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station. During interrogations, she confessed that she poured the hot water during an argument with the Filipina. Necessary legal action was taken prior to referring the suspect to the Public Prosecution.
