Al-nawaf Orders Investigation Into Citizen's Death During Arrest
An investigation concerning the death of a citizen while under custody has been mandated by Lieutenant-General (Retd) Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nawaf, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The minister wants to know if there was any carelessness or misuse of authority by ministry staff, according to a local Arabic newspaper. The case is now in the Public Prosecution's hands, according to the Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior. The ministry will take required action after the Public Prosecution's procedures are finished.
