Air Traffic At Kuwait International Airport Is Normal Despite Fog

Air traffic at Kuwait International Airport is normal on Saturday, despite heavy fog, said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Director of the DGCA’s Department of Air Traffic Eng Emad Al-Sanousi said the current visibility level at Kuwait Airport allows takeoffs and landings in compliancy with the airport standards.

Heavy clouds spread across the country last night and until the early hours of Saturday, causing decline of visibility to less than 1,000 meters. During the early hours, little of sun shine and clouds merged and formed an excellent portrait during this time of the year.
