A Red Light Crossing Proves Costly For Two People

A traffic violation led to the arrest of a bedoun and his expatriate companion, who were wanted by law for prison time.

According to a security source, an American vehicle crossed a red traffic light in Hawally while a police patrol was on duty.

When the officer ordered the driver to pull over to issue him a traffic citation, the driver appeared confused, and during questioning, the officer realized the driver had been sentenced to one month in prison in absentia.

According to the daily, his female expatriate companion who was in the passenger seat was also wanted by law to serve one year in prison for an unidentified offense.

An expatriate suffering from psychological disorders attempted suicide by hanging himself in his Ardiya room. An ambulance took him to Farwaniya Hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.

Security personnel rescued an unidentified expatriate who attempted suicide by hanging when they arrived in time.

A suicide case has been filed against him.
